When the Community Foundation of South Jersey (CFSJ) chose to honor John F. Scarpa for their Legacy of Giving event, they chose PM to make the event a success. The goal was to increase revenue and attendance, while introducing the CFSJ to new audiences in Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Ocean and Salem counties.
PM was responsible for helping to coordinate and support a host committee of over 100 of South Jersey’s most successful and influential professionals who volunteered to help solicit sponsor and ticket sales. PM directly managed budget projections and tracking, target data aggregation and processing, sponsor and attendee invitation mailings, sponsor tracking, social media content and engagement, ticketing, catering planning and negotiation, event gift acquisition, program book management and design, decorations, signage and on-site event management. After the event, PM participated in post-event income analysis and sponsor recognition activities.
The result was 540 attendees and over $310,000 raised at a memorable event at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City. All numbers were significantly higher than the original target estimates, laying the groundwork for CFSJ’s quest to become a household name throughout the region.
