Davila Named to National Small Business Association’s Leadership Council

Glenn Davila, president of Performance Marketing, was recently named to the National Small Business Association (NSBA) Leadership Council. NSBA is the nation’s oldest small-business advocacy organization and operates on a staunchly nonpartisan basis. Davila, a recognized leader in the South Jersey small-business community, joins the NSBA Leadership Council alongside other small-business advocates from across the country as they work to promote the interests of small business to policymakers in Washington, D.C.

“As a small-business owner who is actively involved in economic development throughout the region, I see the importance of being involved in the formation and evaluation of laws and regulations,” stated Davila. “Joining NSBA’s Leadership Council enables me to take our collective small-business message to the people who need to hear it most: Congress.”

A founding member of Performance Marketing at its inception in 2001, Davila became the sole owner of the firm in 2009, and serves as the primary client contact, Creative Director, and senior copywriter. He is currently the chairman of the Southern New Jersey Development Council, chairman of the marketing committee for the Community Food Bank of New Jersey’s Board of Trustees, and the chairman of the marketing committee for the Garden State Council of Boy Scouts of America Board of Trustees. Glenn holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Trenton State College (The College of New Jersey) and a master’s degree in corporate communications from Duquesne University.

Davila joined the NSBA Leadership Council as part of his efforts to tackle the many critical issues facing small business, including tax reform, regulatory restraint, health care costs and how access to capital will impact small business. The NSBA Leadership Council is focused on providing valuable networking between small-business advocates from across the country while ensuring small business a seat at the table as Congress and regulators take up key small-business proposals.

“I am proud to have Glenn Davila as part of our Leadership Council,” stated NSBA President and CEO Todd McCracken. “He came to us highly recommended, and I look forward to our coordinated efforts for years to come.”

Performance Marketing is one of South Jersey’s leading marketing firms, providing strategic marketing services for clients in the federal government, utilities, health care, insurance, economic development, municipalities, and more. For more information, visit www.callpm.com
