AdWords, A Powerful Customer Acquisition Tool

Google AdWords, also known as Paid Search, can reap immediate benefits. When someone searches for products or services and clicks on your ad, the result is a qualified prospect. Unlike traditional print advertising, the reader who clicks on your ad is interested in learning more.

How Google AdWords Works

Typically, a website’s main menu lists the company’s products. In AdWords, a major category is a keyword around which a campaign is built. This campaign is supported by a tightly grouped set of relevant supporting keywords.

When someone clicks on the ad, they are taken to the website’s landing page. The ad owner is charged a fee or cost-per-click (CPC). The CPC and monthly spending budget are determined by you and never exceeded.

Google AdWords Are Dynamic and Flexible

Several variations of ads are written to generate leads and are consistently reviewed for performance. Poor performing keywords are replaced or deleted. Ads not drawing traffic to the website (via clicks) are re-written with new content or messaging.
