Website Building 101- Beyond SEO
Each page of a website should be unique and easy to understand. If not, several undesirable results are inevitable:
- If people can’t grasp what a page is about in five seconds or less, they’ll move on (aka, bounce).
- If the search engines crawl multiple unrelated keywords and mixed messaging on the same page, the page will be irrelevant.
- High Bounce Rate + Low Relevancy Score = Poor Page Rank

Performance Marketing uses a time-tested, best practice template when building each web page:
- Top of each page starts with a big bold H1 tag, the Page Title
- Followed by an H2 tag, the Tagline (slightly smaller, bolded font)
- Short, relevant paragraphs or bullet lists support the H1 & H2 tags
- Multiple paragraphs, deviating slightly from H1 are introduced by H3 Tags
Sample Web Page
<H1 Tag> The Page Keyword
<H2 Tagline> Keyword in Phrase
<H3 C> Content Intro
