Q1: Can you share with us a recent project that presented a notable challenge and the key obstacles you faced?

Ron: Recently we had exterior led lit lettering whose power supplies kept failing. (Power supplies convert regular current to low voltage for led lighting.) Although they were installed as per code and manufacturer recommendations, they kept failing one by one. There were four of these in the sign and they all kept failing.

Q2: How did you approach solving these challenges, and what strategies did you implement?

Ron: First, we spoke to the manufacturer and confirmed that they were properly installed. Then we switched to more powerful, higher watt power supplies. When that didn’t work, we reached out to our large pool of vendors. One vendor offered the correct solution involving increased spacing and ventilation beyond manufacturer specifications.

Q3: What lessons did you learn from this experience, and how does it showcase Performance Marketing’s commitment to our clients?

Ron: Although we’ve installed these types of signs for the past 20 years and never had this issue, sometimes the unexpected happens and you must solve it. When issues arise, we are dedicated to pursuing the solutions for customer satisfaction.
